Spend the morning up close with authentic antique sashiko work clothing and household textiles. See some of the variety and character that made up traditional sashiko. Try out various techniques and traditional sewing tools. After a light Japanese home-cooked lunch begin planning and stitching your own project inspired by the morning session.
This is a one day workshop please choose the Tuesday OR Sunday session. There's a possibility of follow up days if there's enough interest. Fee includes lunch and a starting panel of indigo, thread and needles. Other materials will be extra depending on your individual project...
