2019 School Anime Poster Competition
As part of the Japanese Film Festival coming to Hobart this September, the Australia-Japan Society (Tasmania) Inc is hosting an anime poster competition. Enter for the chance to win a prize and be recognised as Anime Master in your category!
Entry is free for all participants.
Categories: Primary grade 3-6 / Secondary grade 7-9 / Senior Secondary grade 10-12
1: Make an anime poster based on the theme MIRAI on either A3 or A4.
(MIRAI means "THE FUTURE". The theme shares its name with the first film to be shown at the festival.)
2: Take a picture or scan it and send it in by 12 September 2019 to firstname.lastname@example.org with:
3. Winners need to be able to attend the opening night reception on 19 September and be able to bring their original poster to the event.
Winners will be contacted prior to the festival opening night. Posters will be displayed at the opening night reception, which will take place at 6 pm on 19 September at the Dechaineux Theatre at the University of Tasmania, School of Creative Arts on Hunter Street. Prizes will be awarded at the reception.
All participants are welcome to attend the reception and subsequent screening of Mirai. However, places are limited.
